Here at New Hanover Farm, we offer our own horses for sale as well as advertise high-quality horses for other people.

New Hanover Farm welcomes our newest horse "Black China" He is a 2007 AQHA gelding who garnered the High Score Ribbon in Western Dressage. at the SIDC show with Barb. China has been on trail rides, loads like a champ, great for Farrier with fabulous mannèrs. He is also so affectionate and a pleasure to be around as well as under saddle.

Gamaliel NHF (aka Sonny) is a tall, dark and stunningly handsome colt. He moves like a champion with elegance, flash and groundcover. He is the epitome of fine, uncompromised Hanoverian breeding and is very much like his sire; Gribaldi and 1/2 brother Totalis. Born on June 1, 2014 this young colt already shows great promise.

He has the elasticity and movement everyone is looking for. Lovely natural uphill carriage, handsome looks and striking elegance make Gamaliel NHF stand out and shine! His uphill canter is unbelievable to see in a youngster, very balanced and light. His trot is elegant floaty and forward! His international potential is evident.

Gamaliel NHF indeed is such a rare find. His name actually means "Gift from God" and he is just that, a gift. Gamaliel NHF's sire Gribaldi has, under the Dutch rider Edward Gal, become an internationally famous Grand Prix dressage stallion. Gribaldi has numerous licensed sons including Painted Black and Totalis. Based on performance of Gribaldi's 7- and 8-year old offspring, the KWPN have proclaimed Gribaldi a Keur stallion. The successes of Gribaldi himself are too many to mention and Gribaldi has held the title of number one sire in Europe!

The Dam Fergee is by Florestan I out of an Elite Weltmeyer mare. Judges comments for Fergee by USDF judges were "this horse has unlimited potential". Florestan I is another true foundation stallion and Weltmeyer is considered the Hanoverian stallion of the century.

Gamaliel NHF is registered with the American Hanoverian Society and is a truly remarkable jewel for breeding in the United States, representing uncompromised quality combined with science, education and over 40 years of breeding experience.

Beautiful bay 2011 young mare by Olympic Ferro out of our Elite Weltmeyer mare. Scoring 81.6% at her USDF Sporthorse Prospect in-Hand show taking First Place. Olympic Ferro is a World renown stallion himself. First Dance is energetic yet calm and forward with a natural steady tempo. She is calm and not a spooky mare but has the power and go when you need it.

Currently working toward her Elite Mare Status.

April Blossum is a champ at Driving and can also be ridden under saddle. She is currently in training with Barbara.

Fergee is the perfect combination of elegance and friendliness. She is a solid young mare with incredible suspension and even at this young age shows excellent cadence and balance in her canter. She has a solid four-beat walk. Fergee loves to be in the arena and is eager to please. We are so proud of this mare she is going to make someone a wonderul dressage or sport horse. Currently working toward her Elite Mare Status.

Tia, as she is called, is a stunning filly with long legs and a powerful hind end. Achieved Elite Mare Status in 2016 and will be a proud contributor to our breeding program if she does not sell. Her conformation is correct and with Harvard as her sire, you know the great temperament we see on this young horse will only solidify with age. She loves people and always runs to greet me when I walk into her pasture.

"Dino" as he's known around the barn has a very sweet disposition yet he is sensitive with a super go button. Dino is currently in regular training with Barb.

Chantillee Lace is absolutely beautiful and is most certainly a future elite prospect. Once she has passed her three-year-old inspection, we will be offering her services for embryo transfer.

News!! July 2010, Chantillee was inspected and was placed in the main stud book and is elite eligible! She is now approved for breeding and will commence her training and breeding to fulfill her elite mare status.

Devon Heiress’ barn name is Dee Dee and she’s Ed’s favorite.
If we don’t find a new home for her, Ed’s not worried –
he’s convinced he’s going to teach this talented and beautiful
young horse to drive. She will no doubt be the fanciest driving
horse you will ever have seen! Dee Dee has impressive cadence and impulsion that she’s happy to show off. She achieved a premium rating at her foal inspection.

Ferrarree a 2008 gelding by Florestan (F-line) out of an elite Weltmeyer mare. He is an elegant and modern riding horse with enormous gaits that are elegant and lofty and you can barely hear him touch the ground. Lots of air time. He has just been put under saddle and is naturally cadenced and uphill. We were amazed at how willing and confident this gorgeous horse is and we have every belief he will go Grand Prix! No bones about it he is a future FEI horse. He is currently in full training in preparation for Young Horse USEF qualifying events. He is intelligent ands works with his rider to give his best every time.. His dam competed in the Young Horse program with qualifying scores up to 81 percent! His pedigree is similar to the stallion Florencio noted by many to have one of the best canters in the world. His price will increase as his training progresses.
